Pup Tent

Develop your Little Boy’ Independence with a Pup Tent

Get your kids involved in simple seedling making for the environment in your yard, an activity that at the same time allows them to take in the sunshine that they have been missing since they got addicted to the computer games inside the house. They can help Mom make the seedlings for the fruit trees her garden club is contracting for the government’s reforestation project. The kids’ daytime hours will thus be full, keeping them away from the TV and the computer in the house.

Let the youngest boy put up his own pup tent next to Mom’s garden so he can easily take the naps after playing and making some seedlings on his own. This is the best arrangement for the kid, as he does not like to go inside the house for his naps, so Mom can also keep watch over him while he sleeps. Making the boy put up his own pup tent will also develop early independence in him instead of being the spoiled brat in the family, being the youngest of your brood.

The seedling making activities make the kids conscious of nature and promote better environmental awareness in them, much needed now that the world is having problems with the rising temperatures. Dad during weekends will join the kids out in the yard to help in seedling making and to check if the youngest boy’s child tent is set up correctly. It was Dad’s idea when he bought the girl tent to develop some independence in the youngest kid, as he noticed that the boy easily cries on almost anything that displeases him, to the chagrin and annoyance of his older siblings.

Dad’s joining in the seedling-making activity will make Mom happy, as she seemed to have failed at first to convince Dad on the seedling project’s usefulness for the community. She did not realize that the youngest boy’s childs tent was the key to Dad’s finally agreeing to help in the project. Mom tried to cajole Dad at first with some beer so he will participate in the project, but the youngest boy’s tantrums were after all the better approach. Now she has Dad as another seedling maker for free, save for some cans of beer she has kept in the cooler, in case he remembers the beer she was offering before.

When Dad learned that there was really beer in the cooler, he brought the cooler out to the yard, and placed it next to the coleman kids of the young boy, so he can just reach for the beer anytime. Dad complained that seedling making could be a thirsty job especially under the hot sun. Only beer can make him continue in the work. The kids too lightened up when Dad brought the cooler out, because of their own cold drinks which they also have to take while perspiring under the sun.

Mom now realizes that beer and a pup tent are a great help in the making of seedlings for the environment.
